| Personal | Arcola Scott has served as Stewart County Commissioner since 2003. She is the first woman and the first African American woman ever to be elected to the Stewart County Commission. She is married and has 2 children. Arcola is a member of Greater St. Mark AME church where she served as Sunday School Supt., Trustee, Usher and Treasurer. Commissioner Scott serves District 5 which includes a small portion of Lumpkin, County Line, Benevolence, Wrightville and rural areas south of Richland. |
